Mpod Site Acceptance Tests¶
Overview¶
The MUSE control program of Wiener can download (save configuration to file from a crate) and upload (read file and write to a crate) XML crate configurations (CC-XML) files from a running crate using the controller’s USB interface. MUSE details are contained described in Wiener’s MPOD user manual.
CC-XML files should be saved when equipment like the controller is sent for repair. The saved file can then be applied to a replacement or on the repaired controller.
The sat_tools/muse_file_manipulator.awk script is a tool for manipulating CC-XML files, i.e. the script allows a configuration to be create which is useful for testing where interlocks are disabled, internal sense lines are used, and V/I settings are modified to values which are probably useful for testing the crate with the active load not connected.
