FCCD: The Fast CCD Camera

The FastCCD is a 2D imaging detector which runs mainly at a rate of 10 or 20 Hz. It can be run in Full-Frame mode (FF, 2 Megapixel, up to 60 Hz) and in Frame-Store mode (FS, 1 Megapixel, up to 120 Hz). It is used at SCS in two modes: as stand-alone detector for single shot non-linear imaging also before the DSSC will be ready and as a secondary diffraction plane for the time-resolved holography together with the DSSC.
